My first blog post of 2020 was supposed to be a recap of upcoming shows. Sadly, like many small businesses, our venues have been closed or shut down. Fortunately we are well placed for online orders and fullfillment by mail. At the moment, we think our first show will be in May. May 23 is a local event in Musquodobit Harbour, NS. Our first larger show will be the Lunenburg Craft and Food Festival, July 13-14. Our booth is 42 in the Civic Arena. Hard to believe the calendar has rolled around again. Show season begins this weekend with VegFest 2019. October sees the Horton High Harvest Craft Sale October 19. Located in Horton High School, Greenwich, Kings Co., this large and very busy show features many crafters from around the province. 9-4pm. And finally, October wraps with Dartmouth Handcrafters Guild Christmas Craft show, October 25, 27, 12:00-9:00, 10:00-8:00, 10-4;00 at the Zatzman Centre (Dartmouth. Sportsplex).

Our production activity is gearing up towards the gift-giving season. First Craft Show is in September, Windfall Fine Art and Handcraft Show in Antigonish. This busy show was one of our best last year. In the meantime, the teaching hiatus is nearly complete and we return to Tantallon Village Farmers Market, a lively little outdoors venue with the atmosphere of a carnival. We collaborate with Deeply Aware, a crystals company offering mindfully created stone jewellry. We continue our presence at the Halifax Brewery Farmers Market on Saturdays and alternating Prospect and Spryfield markets on Sundays. Some of our new products are...
