In my neighbourhood, there is no access to fresh food, other than the large supermarkets. A large suburb of Halifax, Spryfield continues to be a bedroom community. Many folks commute daily onto the peninsula. Others are retired and living on a fixed income. There is little opportunity to gather, for gathering's sake. Farmers' markets are notoriously fun places to gather, have coffee, buy treats, food and network. With the support of the Community Development Officer, I decided to start a market. Content management systems are easy once you have the structure entrenched in your mind. we have arrived, but the door keep stickin'. That is, things look pretty and organized and I forget to save a page. Nothing like the dreaded 404 message or a blank web page to shake one's confidence....onwards, with a little oil. Or a lot as it were. Here's a little sunshiny dawn of our Halifax harbour....in August.

Newest soap unmolded this afternoon. Ummm, the house smells of Buttered Vanilla Latte. Vanilla imparts such a warm sweet aroma. Contrast that with heavy wind and rain tempest outside. Great day to start a new website!
